Talisker Skye whiskey is produced by the homonymous and only distillery on the Isle of Skye, a cold and wild land almost constantly lapped by the wind and the sea. The Talisker is located on the 57th parallel north, on the same level as Alaska, an island of the United Kingdom, part of the archipelago of the Inner Hebrides which belongs to Scotland.

A Single Malt famous for its intense peated aroma and for its particular almost saline taste, qualities appreciated by true connoisseurs and amateurs, but which amaze and challenge even those who taste it for the first time. Peculiarities that underline the close link between this particular whiskey, the sea that surrounds the island, the territory and the men who inhabit it.

Talisker proposed it as a substitute for the 10 year old, a single malt created from a blend of distillates of different styles and ages, a particular reinterpretation of a great classic that releases so much elegance and strength.

In the glass you can admire its bright antique gold colour; on the nose it amazes with the initial and powerful hint of peat well blended with aromas of candied citrus fruits, caramel and dried fruit. There is no shortage of nuances of malt and ginger, with salty and peppery notes.

In the mouth the sip is soft and warm, the notes of dried and smoked fruit return decisively, which accompany a peppery finish.

Excellent tasted smooth, it is excellent accompanied by a square of 90% extra-dark chocolate or with Stilton cheese.
