Franciacorta Brut San Cristoforo, is a Classic Method sparkling wine made from grapes of a single harvest, favoring Chardonnay grapes, it is produced with simplicity, love and passion, by one of the most interesting companies in Franciacorta. A productive expression based on the protection of tradition, combined with an innovative passion that gave life to this label set on the perfect balance between freshness and softness, power and elegance.
The Metodo Classico Brut is produced with grapes from 25-year-old vines, which extend over 10 hectares in the heart of Franciacorta, in Erbusco, cultivated like a beautiful, orderly and refined garden, with wisdom, attention and love for the area, following a very thoughtful and careful agricultural style.
The base wines are vinified to a very small extent, in stainless steel or even in old barriques, after a soft pressing and fermentation, the must is left to mature for 6 months. The bottles are left to rest in the cellar for 30 months in contact with the lees, and put on the market at least 5 months after disgorgement.
This refined Spumante has a beautiful deep and bright straw yellow color, and begins in the glass with a fine and persistent perlage. On the nose the aromas are fruity, with notes of honey and dried fruit, with a citrus finish of cedar, and hints of yeast and bakery bread. On the palate it is lively and fragrant, with a pleasant freshness, and a long finish with a fine persistence. A sparkling wine of refined elegance.
Its balance is perfect, and it is ideal as an aperitif, but also with first and second courses based on fish, and preparations based on vegetables. A bubble that best represents the San Cristoforo winery, delicate, refined and sublime, a pearl of Franciacorta!
