Sauvignon DOC Friuli - Terre Magre - Piera Martellozzo 2020

Piera1899 is one of the reference wineries in the North East of Italy; the company has always been devoted to one goal: to obtain the best possible quality in wines characterized by pleasantness and pairing, able to compete with the greatest winemaking traditions in the world.
The harvest begins in the first ten days of September. The grapes are subjected to soft pressing with a light cryomaceration for about 24 hours to increase their aromatic profile. The fermentation of the must takes place at a controlled temperature of 17 ° - 18 ° C. For a more important aromatic composition, the wine is left on the fine deposit for about six months at a temperature of 12 ° - 13 ° C.
In the chalice it has a cbright straw yellow color with greenish hues. On the nose it releases evident vegetal hints of sage, notes of pepper and tomato leaf accompanied by the scent of apricot, exotic fruit and grapefruit. On the palate the saroma is fat and inviting, decidedly aromatic with an infinite nose-mouth continuity.
A wine that tells the quintessence of a territory steeped in knowledge, beauty and traditions; a glass of ideal quality with elaborate fish-based appetizers, seafood salads, boiled or baked fine fish, egg-based dishes. Excellent with dishes that have asparagus as their main ingredient.
