The "Spumante Metodo Classico Brut Rosè - Vulcano 800" from Terra dei Re winery is an elegant expression of the unique style and terroir of this renowned vineyard. Made strictly according to the Metodo Classico, this rosé sparkling wine stands out for its finesse and distinctive character.

Produced with meticulously selected grapes, this sparkling wine reflects the essence of its volcanic origin territory, which gives the wine distinctive mineral notes accompanied by an intriguing aromatic complexity. The color is a delicate antique pink, bright and inviting, with fine and persistent bubbles that herald the quality of the drink.

On the nose, the Vulcano 800 opens with fresh and vibrant aromas of red fruits such as wild strawberries and raspberries, enriched by nuances of yeast and pan brioche resulting from the long maturation on yeasts in the bottle. These notes of fresh fruit blend harmoniously with scents of wildflowers and a light spicy note, making the bouquet complex and captivating.

On the palate, the attack is vibrant, fresh but well-balanced. The creaminess of the bubbles blends with a balanced acid structure leading to a long and savory finish, leaving a pleasant sensation of freshness and a delicate persistence of red fruit aromas and mineral hints.

Served at a temperature of 6-8°C, the "Spumante Metodo Classico Brut Rosè - Vulcano 800" by Terra dei Re is perfect as an aperitif, as well as paired with light appetizers, fish-based dishes, or sushi. This rosé sparkling wine will not fail to embellish every special occasion, offering a rich and memorable sensory experience.

Winery history
The project began in the early 21st century at the initiative of the Rabasco and Leone families; the first harvests and winemaking date back to the early 2000s. Over the years the estate has developed vineyards in the prime contrade of Monte Vulture and introduced labels such as Divinus, Nocte and Vulcano 800. Since 2018/2019 it has collaborated with winemaker Riccardo Cotarella.
Production philosophy
Production oriented toward respect for the territory and sustainability: precision agriculture practices, emissions reduction, use of photovoltaic systems and rainwater harvesting, with the aim of minimizing the environmental impact of the bottles. The company also states that it was among the first in the wine sector to obtain the Friend of the Earth certification.
Terroir and vineyards
Operations take place on the slopes of Monte Vulture: volcanic soils, a strong diurnal temperature range and varying altitudes that favour the expression of Aglianico, Pinot Nero and white varieties. The winery is part of the DOC Aglianico del Vulture.
Awards and recognitions
The winery and its wines have received numerous national and international recognitions: examples include high scores and mentions in specialized guides, repeated "Tre Bicchieri" awards for the Aglianico "Nocte", as well as prizes for sparkling wines and other labels.
