Italicus Bergamot Rosolio was born from an idea of the Giuseppe Gallo bar tender; a distillate that represents the great tradition of the Italian aperitif once upon a time when, before Vermouth and Bitter, rosolio was the main aperitif appreciated even by the King of Savoy.
Made exclusively with natural ingredients of our country including chamomile, lavender, gentian, Calabrian bergamot and Sicilian cedar, Italicus is a fascinating product not only for the palate but also for the particular design of the bottle, inspired by the typical Roman columns, as well as the name.
On the nose the scent is slightly citrus with hints of lemon and cedar, as well as more delicate hints of lavender and rose. In the mouth it releases freshness, with a slight bitter hint and citrus returns to balance a complex sip, particularly rich and spicy, with a persistent finish.
Due to its great complexity, Italicus is perfect for really interesting mixes: to try together with Gin London Dry, prosecco and green olives!
