The Echezeaux "En Orveaux" Grand Cru by Domaines Faiveley is one of the most prestigious expressions of Pinot Noir from Burgundy, coming from one of the most renowned parcels of the Echezeaux Grand Cru. This wine embodies the excellence and tradition of Domaines Faiveley, a winery with a long history of producing high-quality wines in the Burgundy region.

The "En Orveaux" parcel benefits from an exceptional terroir, with calcareous and marly soils that give the wine a unique complexity and minerality. The location of the vineyard, the age of the vines and the careful and sustainable viticulture practices contribute to producing Pinot Noir grapes of exceptional quality, which are then vinified following traditional Burgundian methods to enhance the varietal characteristics and purity of the fruit.

Fermentation takes place in open vats, with prolonged maceration to extract colours, aromas and tannins, followed by refinement in French oak barriques, some of which are new, to add complexity and structure to the wine, without overpowering its natural qualities.

Visually, the Echezeaux "En Orveaux" presents itself with a brilliant, deep and inviting ruby red color. On the nose, the wine offers a rich bouquet of aromas, with notes of ripe red fruit, such as cherries and strawberries, floral accents of violet, and nuances of spices, leather and undergrowth, which reflect the elegance and depth of Pinot Noir.

In the mouth, the wine demonstrates extraordinary concentration and intensity, with a perfect balance between fruit richness, lively acidity and finely polished tannins. The structure is robust but harmonious, with a complexity that develops into a long, persistent finish, leaving a feeling of elegance and refinement.

Echezeaux "En Orveaux" Grand Cru is a wine with great aging potential, capable of evolving and improving over many years in the cellar, developing greater complexity and aromatic nuances.

This wine represents an excellent choice for special occasions, capable of accompanying refined dishes such as delicate red meats, mushroom dishes and mature cheeses, offering a profound sensorial experience that celebrates the nobility of Pinot Noir in Burgundy.
