The Champagne AOC - Cuvée Saint Petersbourg by Veuve Clicquot is a sumptuous expression of the heritage and craftsmanship of the iconic maison of Reims. This cuvée is named after the charming city of Saint Petersburg, reflecting the historical link between this Russian metropolis and the Veuve Clicquot maison, which began exporting its champagnes to Russia at the beginning of the 19th century.

The Cuvée Saint Petersbourg is predominantly composed of Pinot Noir grapes, which provide it with a robust structure and intense aromas, while the presence of Chardonnay rounds out the bouquet with elegant notes of white-fleshed fruit and subtle floral nuances. The addition of a small percentage of Pinot Meunier further enriches the aromatic profile with accents of fresh red fruits.

Visually, it presents a bright golden color and fine, persistent bubbles, a sign of meticulous aging. On the nose, complex and seductive sensations of ripe fruit, sweet spices, and subtle touches of toasted brioche emerge, confirming the refinement that characterizes the products of this historic maison.

On the palate, the Champagne AOC - Cuvée Saint Petersbourg impresses with its creaminess, supported by a vibrant acidity that extends its finish, making it persistently pleasurable. It is a champagne that lends itself magnificently to special occasions, perfect as an aperitif or paired with elegant dishes such as oysters, salmon carpaccio, or delicate cheese soufflés.

This champagne not only tells the story of an intrinsic connection with Tsarist Russia but also testifies to Veuve Clicquot's continuous pursuit of excellence and innovation. A prestigious addition for any collector or lover of high-end champagne.
