Barbera d'Alba DOC "Vigna Scarrone" by Vietti is a wine that embodies the passion and innovation of one of the most prestigious wineries in Piedmont. This wine comes from a selected vineyard called "Scarrone", located in the renowned hills of Alba, where the soil and microclimate combine to offer ideal conditions for the cultivation of the Barbera grape.
"Vigna Scarrone" stands out for its intense ruby red color with violet reflections, which anticipates the aromatic richness and gustatory complexity of the wine. On the nose, intense aromas of ripe red fruits emerge, such as cherries and blueberries, enriched by spicy notes and a hint of vanilla, the result of the elegant aging in French oak barriques which does not overpower but enhances the varietal characteristics of Barbera.
In the mouth, the wine reveals an extraordinary intensity and depth, with a perfect harmony between vibrant acidity and soft tannins, which give "Vigna Scarrone" a rich and enveloping structure.
