The quality recognized in the wines of Piera 1899 is the result of a daily commitment which translates into maximum sustainability of processes and production choices aimed at minimum environmental impact. In 1998 the company introduces the first line of organic wines.
The harvest takes place from the middle of September; The grapes are subjected to soft pressing and fermentation with selected yeasts at a controlled temperature of 15 ° -16 ° C. Charmat method with fermentation in autoclave, with yeasts originating in the area, for three months.
In the chalice it has a cstraw yellow color with greenish reflections, fine and persistent perlage. On the nose the bouquet is fruity with hints of pear, golden apple and almond. On the palate it is dry, savory with floral and fruity notes.
Prosecco is a very versatile wine. Excellent as an aperitif, with fish or white meat dishes, but also perfect for the whole meal.
