The Rosso di Montalcino DOC from the Cantina di Montalcino offers a sublime expression of the local terroir, promising a distinctive and enveloping tasting experience. Made exclusively from carefully selected Sangiovese grapes grown in the vineyards of the Montalcino area, this wine reflects the winery's passion and dedication to Tuscan winemaking tradition.

With a bright ruby red color, it reveals lively notes of ripe red fruits like cherries and raspberries on the nose, enriched by floral nuances and a delicate spicy touch. The entry on the palate is smooth and harmonious, followed by a balanced structure that combines masterfully with silky tannins and a persistent freshness.

Aged in oak barrels for a shorter period compared to its more celebrated counterpart, Brunello, the Rosso di Montalcino from the Cantina di Montalcino maintains a fresh and accessible character, making it ideal to enjoy even at a young age. Its high drinkability and pleasant acidity make it perfect for pairing with a wide range of dishes, from light appetizers to main courses based on meat, such as roasts or grilled dishes.

Serving this wine at a temperature of 16-18°C allows all its qualities to shine. The Cantina di Montalcino recommends opening the bottle at least an hour before consumption to allow the wine to oxygenate and reveal its complexity. An authentic gem from this renowned wine region, the Rosso di Montalcino DOC is a true expression of the bond between the land, climate, and the art of Tuscan winemaking.
