The Brunello di Montalcino DOCG produced by the Cantina di Montalcino "Fortezza" is an exemplary testament to Italian oenological excellence. This red wine reflects the passion and dedication that the winery invests in every single detail, from the vineyard to the bottle.

With its intense ruby red color, accented by garnet reflections that become more pronounced with aging, the Brunello di Montalcino "Fortezza" offers a complex bouquet that enchants the senses. On the nose, one can perceive notes of ripe red fruits, such as cherries and plums, which harmoniously blend with hints of tobacco, chocolate, and a slight touch of vanilla due to aging in barrels.

On the palate, the wine presents a robust yet balanced structure. The acidity and tannins are well-integrated, leading to a long and persistent finish, leaving space for nuances of spices and leather, typical of this wine after adequate aging. Traditionally, the Brunello di Montalcino "Fortezza" is aged for at least 24 months in oak barrels, followed by further refinement in the bottle, enhancing its complexity and aging potential.

Ideal for pairing with rich red meat dishes, game, or aged cheeses, this wine is a real gem for connoisseurs and also makes an excellent candidate for cellar aging, promising to develop even more character and complexity over time.

The Brunello di Montalcino DOCG from Cantina di Montalcino "Fortezza" is therefore a wine that not only represents the winemaking tradition of the region but also promises a rich and memorable sensory experience.
