Galìe is produced with 100% Glera grapes, coming from vines grown on medium-textured stony soil, at an altitude of 150/200 m above sea level. The harvest is carried out manually in the month of September; arriving in the cellar, the berries undergo soft pressing and static decantation of the must. Selected native yeasts are added for primary fermentation in stainless steel at 18°C. The new wine is left on the "noble lees" for a month, and subsequently filtered and decanted into autoclaves for secondary fermentation. The refermentation, always with selected yeasts, takes place at 18°C for a duration of approximately 20/25 days, with 5/10 days of aging on the yeasts and rest in the bottle for a few weeks.
Galìe is classic for aperitifs, with an extra pinch of elegance. A Prosecco that falls within the Treviso DOC, one of the categories most appreciated by enthusiasts and experts.
In the glass it shows off a beautiful light and brilliant straw yellow colour, when poured it develops a rich, persistent foam, with a fine and continuous perlage. On the nose it expresses elegant and fruity aromas, extremely fresh and aromatic. In the mouth the taste is characteristic for its type, with a slight acidity which makes it very refreshing and pleasant, and a prevalence of notes of white fruit and citrus fruits.
A harmonious sparkling wine, characterized by a light sweetness; as well as being perfect as an aperitif, it is excellent with delicate first courses and spring risottos.
