The Spumante Metodo Classico Brut Rosé Terrazze Dell’Etna is born among the volcanic slopes of Etna, in the heart of Sicily, where the mineral-rich soil gives the vines extraordinary expressiveness. The blend includes skillfully selected native grape varieties, grown at high altitude benefiting from significant temperature variations, imparting the wine with freshness and unique aromatic complexity.

The classic method, with a second fermentation in the bottle and prolonged aging on the lees, gives this rosé an effervescent lightness and refined structure. On the nose, notes of small red fruits, cherry and wild strawberries emerge, accompanied by scents of bread crust and yeasts typical of traditional sparkling wine.

On the palate, it is velvety, with fine and persistent perlage, pleasant acidity that balances softness, and a mineral finish that recalls the volcanic territory. Ideal with seafood appetizers, sushi, or delicately spiced fish dishes.

Winery history
Terrazze dell'Etna was born as a family project led by Nino Bevilacqua with the aim of recovering old vineyards, traditional wine presses and terraces in the Etna area. The estate was established in 2008 and developed by restoring the historic structure of the terraces and renovating the traditional production spaces, later integrating modern cellar technologies.
Production philosophy
The winery states an approach that places the land and craftsmanship at the center: respect for the vine’s natural cycle, hands-on work in the terraced vineyards, and a balance of tradition and innovation. Terrazze dell'Etna aims to tell the story of the place through wines that reflect Etna’s volcanic personality, combining artisanal care, aesthetic attention and experimentation.
Terroir and vineyards
The estate is located on the northwest slope of Mount Etna, within the Etna Natural Park. The vineyards are planted on terraces at various altitudes in contrade such as Bocca d'Orzo, Statella, Calderara and Allegracore; the soils are of volcanic origin and the microclimate is influenced by the proximity of the volcano.
Awards and recognitions
Critical recognition for individual wines, including 5 Grappoli from Bibenda, awards and mentions in guides such as Falstaff and Veronelli for wines like Cirneco, Carusu and il Rosato; the winery publishes an awards section with details by year and by wine.
