San Miguel was born in the Philippines; they didn't know beer there and for this reason the day the factory opened was remembered as San Miguel day. It became famous all over the world at the beginning of the 1900s, today it covers 75% of Spanish production.
It is appreciated not only as a drink, but is also used in the preparation of Mediterranean cuisine. San Miguel beer has a beautiful golden yellow color, the scent is pleasant and intense, characterized by the aroma of cereals, fruit and smoked. On the palate it is perfectly balanced, with a toasted and moderately bitter taste, with a persistent aftertaste of licorice.
It is perfect with all dishes of Spanish cuisine, and is also suitable for cooking dishes such as stews and escalopes in beer.
