Domaine de Trevallon is renowned for its exceptional expression of the mixed terroir of Baux-de-Provence. The Alpilles Rouge stands out for its characteristic blend of balance between Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, which defines a complex and captivating aromatic profile. On the nose, this wine presents intense notes of black fruits, spices, and a light touch of aromatic herbs, a testament to the Alpilles habitat that surrounds it. On the palate, the structure is robust but balanced by mature tannins and a vibrant freshness that contributes to a long and pleasantly persistent finish. Aging in wood for 12 months adds layers of vanilla and toast, which intertwine harmoniously with the fruit. Ideal for accompanying grilled red meats and richly flavored dishes, this wine promises an unforgettable tasting experience, reflecting the excellence and uniqueness of Domaine de Trevallon. It is recommended to decant for a few hours before serving to further enhance its aromas and flavors.

Discover the story and wines of Domaine de Trévallon.

A family-owned winery on the northern slopes of the Alpilles (Provence), known for an emblematic red made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah and for a rare white.
Region: Alpilles, Provenza (Les Baux-de-Provence)
Country: Francia
Founded: 1973
Grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Cinsault, Marsanne, Roussanne, Chardonnay, Clairette, Grenache Blanc, Muscat à petit grain
Iconic red wine based on a historic blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. Rare, limited-production white, blended primarily from Marsanne and Roussanne with other minor white varieties. Terraced vineyards and north-facing parcels in the Regional Natural Park of the Alpilles. Strong ties to the art world: labels illustrated by René Dürrbach. Family-run operation employing agricultural practices that respect the ecosystem.
Winery history
The estate came into the Dürrbach family in the second half of the 20th century; modern viticultural activity began when Éloi Dürrbach planted the first vines in 1973. The family, with a strong connection to the arts, has progressively developed the vineyard and the label's international reputation. After Éloi's death in 2021, the next generation assumed leadership of the estate.
Production philosophy
An artisanal approach focused on preserving the balance of the site: environmentally respectful farming practices, minimal winemaking with indigenous yeasts, and careful aging to bring out the "memory of the soil" and the personality of the grapes.
Terroir and vineyards
Vineyards spread across multiple parcels along three small valleys on the northern slopes of the Alpilles, on calcareous soils mixed with clay, marl and pebbles. The north-facing exposure and the complexity of the soils give the wine mineral freshness and a strong sense of place.
