Lagrein represents the oldest vine variety in Alto Adige and shares genetic characteristics with Syrah. This type of grape particularly thrives in the vineyards of southern Alto Adige.

Fermentation takes place on the pomace at a controlled temperature in stainless steel containers, followed by malolactic fermentation and refinement in large wooden barrels.

The result is a dark and powerful red wine. On the palate, the finely structured tannins give the wine a robust profile without being harsh; the fleshy fruit of Lagrein is enriched by vigorous aromatic tones, culminating in a finish with a passionate character. The young freshness leaves a prolonged and juicy aftertaste in your mouth.
