A dry red wine that comes from the skilful vinification of 100% Lagrein grown in Bolzano, at an altitude of 260 m above sea level, on sandy and deep alluvial soils with southern exposure, Gujot and pergola pruning.
The vinification takes place with the fermentation at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks at 28°C for the duration of 8 days; the refinement is carried out in large wooden barrels of 30-50 hl for a period of at least 6 months.
Shows a deep garnet red color. It grants an inviting aroma, a versatile and ample wine that offers a hint of violet and chocolate, mixed with notes of ripe plums and cloves. The taste is decidedly elegant, with an extremely velvety structure, soft tannins, notes of bitter almond and a youthful freshness.
It goes perfectly with game dishes, as well as being perfect with roasts in general, grilled meat and entrecôte with herb butter.
