Piancastello is a classic method brut sparkling wine produced with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes. After the harvest, carried out manually, the grapes are softly pressed into whole bunches and fermented partly in stainless steel and partly in barrique. After a few months of aging, the wines are blended to create the cuvée and aged again on the lees in the bottle for 36 months.
An extremely refined sparkling wine that fully represents the noble Trentino tradition with its marked mineral freshness and aromatic richness. The ingredients needed to give life to this great Classic Method are: grapes harvested when perfectly ripe, considerable temperature changes and a long period of refinement.
In the glass you can admire its straw yellow color with a fine and persistent perlage. The bouquet offered to the nose is delicate and decidedly elegant, characterized by floral scents, fruity aromas and notes of pain grillé, vanilla and honey. The taste is fresh and lively, very harmonious, savory and mineral on the finish.
A refined bubble, ideal to be enjoyed in combination with seafood risotto or steamed shellfish, excellent with eggs and quiches, and perfect with fresh cheeses and grilled fish.
