A red wine obtained from Montepulciano and Sangiovese grapes which are harvested manually; these are then destemmed, left to ferment in contact with the skins and then left to rest in new barriques for a period ranging from 12 to 16 months. A simple procedure for an excellent quality result summarized in Solestà: a Rosso Piceno Superiore ready to give emotions.
When poured, it shows a ruby red color with light garnet reflections. On the nose it offers a rich bouquet punctuated by clear sensations of ripe red fruit and jam, accompanied by hints of tobacco, spices, licorice and cinnamon. The fruity aromas of the nose are also found on the sip, in perfect harmony and balanced structure, right tannins, spicy and persistent finish very pleasant for the palate.
Perfect to combine throughout the meal with land-based dishes and platters of medium-aged cheeses.
