The Chardonnay Friuli Venezia Giulia DOC - Conte Brandolini d'Adda is an illustrious example of how the Chardonnay grape can express itself magnificently also in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region, an Italian wine-growing area known for the production of high quality white wines. This wine bears the signature of the historic Brandolini d'Adda family, who has been dedicated to viticulture for generations, combining tradition and innovation to create wines that reflect the uniqueness of the territory.
Located in the far north-east of Italy, the Friuli Venezia Giulia region offers ideal climatic conditions for the cultivation of Chardonnay, thanks to its cold winters, hot but breezy summers and rich and varied soils, ranging from calcareous to marine. These characteristics contribute to giving the wine a marked minerality and notable freshness, enriching its aromatic profile.
The Chardonnay Friuli Venezia Giulia DOC by Conte Brandolini d'Adda has a light straw yellow color, often enriched by greenish reflections which testify to its freshness. On the nose, the wine stands out for its elegant and complex bouquet, where the fruity notes of apple, pear and peach blend with floral accents and a light nuance of vanilla, the result of the aging in wood for part of the wine, which adds structure and complexity without overpowering the freshness of the fruit.
In the mouth, the Chardonnay of Conte Brandolini d'Adda reveals a perfect balance between acidity and softness, with a pleasant minerality that accompanies the fruity and creamy notes to a long and persistent finish. The care in winemaking and attention to detail are reflected in the quality of the wine, which is both rich and refreshing.
This Chardonnay is particularly suitable as an aperitif, but thanks to its versatility and structure, it pairs beautifully with a wide range of dishes, from seafood cuisine to delicate first courses, from white meats to soft cheeses. Its elegance and complexity make it an ideal wine for special occasions and to accompany refined dinners.
