The Jeroboam format of Cialla Picolit DOCG presented in an elegant wooden case by Ronchi Di Cialla is a work of oenological art, a tribute to the Friulian winemaking tradition and the excellence of one of the most precious and rare vines in Italy. This special format, equivalent to four standard bottles, not only underlines the prestige and uniqueness of the wine, but also enhances its aging potential.

Ronchi Di Cialla, a pioneer company in the research and valorization of the native vines of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, has dedicated particular care to the cultivation of Picolit, a vine that requires specific attention due to its propensity to produce poor but very high yields quality. The isolated position and microclimate of the Cialla vineyard help create the ideal conditions for the purest and most intense expression of Picolit.

This wine, with a rich golden hue, offers the nose an explosion of aromas: from nuts such as dried apricot and peach, to honey, passing through notes of vanilla and sweet spices thanks to the refinement in small oak barrels . Its olfactory complexity translates into an extraordinary palatability, with a perfect balance between sweetness and acidity that makes every sip pleasantly fresh despite the richness of the wine.

The Cialla Picolit in Jeroboam format is a symbol of conviviality and sharing, ideal for special occasions. Its presentation in a wooden case makes it a prestigious gift for enthusiasts of unique wines or a spectacular addition to a collector's cellar. This wine is a sublime choice to accompany the end of a meal or to celebrate special moments, capable of pairing beautifully with not too sugary desserts, blue cheeses or as a surprising counterpoint to savory dishes of great intensity.

The extremely limited production and meticulous care in the creation of this Picolit make the Jeroboam in wooden case from Ronchi Di Cialla a true expression of luxury and rarity in the world of wine, testifying to the company's relentless commitment to the preservation and promotion of heritage wine production of Friuli.

Winery featured by importers and international technical data sheets.
Winery history
The Rapuzzi family founded the estate in 1970 in the small Cialla valley, restoring local vineyards and helping to save Schioppettino when the variety was nearly lost. In the 1970s and 1980s the winery perfected the recovery of vine cuttings, produced the first vintages of Schioppettino and received recognition that brought Cialla’s wines to international auctions. The denomination and boundaries of the Cialla cru were officially established by ministerial acts and regulations in subsequent years, consolidating the estate’s reputation as a custodian of Friulian indigenous varieties.
Production philosophy
The estate works exclusively with native grape varieties, favoring controlled yields, selective harvesting and minimal agronomic interventions. In the cellar, winemaking is kept as natural as possible and wines undergo extended ageing — including in wood — to achieve long-lived wines with a strong expression of terroir. Biodiversity protection and low-impact practices are integral to the production method.
Terroir and vineyards
The winery is located in the Cialla valley, a small hilly amphitheatre overlooking the Colli Orientali del Friuli, characterized by a tempered microclimate between the Adriatic Sea and the Julian Alps and by marly, well-stratified soils that favor the cultivation of local indigenous varieties. The area is officially recognized as the cru CIALLA for certain traditional varieties.
