Fosélios derives from the Greek noun "Phos" which means "Light", combined with the proper name "Elios", which designated the "Sun God".
The 100% Glera grapes come from Valdobbiadene, in the province of Treviso, from soil with a calcareous-clayey composition, with north-south exposure, at an altitude of 220-280 meters above sea level. The vineyards are trained with the double inverted system, the harvest is done manually towards the month of September. The vinification involves the sparkling process with prize de mousse in an autoclave according to the Charmat or Martinotti method, followed by regular fermentation and a long stop on the lees at 0°C.
In the glass it has a beautiful straw yellow color with bright greenish reflections. It offers the nose an intensely fruity bouquet punctuated by notes of green apple and pear, with a finish full of pleasant floral notes. The sip is fresh and pleasantly sapid.
Foselios is an extremely versatile wine, suitable for any occasion, the perfect goblet to toast and start the meal with quality and taste.
