Audarya Rosato DOC Cannonau is the new label of the homonymous winery, a Sardinian wine, fine, fresh and fruity, with great minerality, capable of being combined with the table with great versatility... and not disfiguring with an aperitif!
Audarya Rosato comes from the company vineyards of Is Crabilis, in the Ussana countryside, a few kilometers from Serdiana, grown on clayey-limestone soils. Produced exclusively from Cannonau grapes, the main vine of the Sardinian ampelographic system.
The harvest is done manually, followed by crushing, maceration, and a short fermentation on the skins, to extract the colored substances. Maturation takes place in stainless steel tanks for a few months, to best preserve the organoleptic characteristics of the wine, enhancing all the fruity and floral aromas, before bottling and placing on the market.
Cannonanu Rosato shines crystal clear in the glass with its soft, bright and lively pink dress. Very fresh sensations arrive on the nose, of fresh fruit such as saturnine peach and citrus memories such as blood orange, delicate notes of flowers such as white freesia, and memories of aromatic herbs are detected.
In the mouth it is an agile drinkable wine, extremely fresh and mineral, very balanced in the hard parts that dominate the soft ones without being excessive, it has fine aromas and good intensity.
A wine that is perfect for an aperitif, perhaps by the sea, or on the contrary to be enjoyed with a fragrant Genoese focaccia, or to be sipped while eating a buffalo pizza with raw ham and cherry tomatoes.
