The Martinenga Nebbiolo Langhe DOC in Magnum format from the historic Marchesi di Gresy estate is a celebration of the elegance and finesse that Nebbiolo can express in the Langhe, one of the most prestigious wine-growing regions of Piedmont. This wine is the result of the vision and commitment of the Gresy family, who for generations have looked after their vineyards with a philosophy of respect for the land and passion for quality.

The Magnum format of Martinenga Nebbiolo Langhe DOC is not only ideal for ageing, allowing the wine to develop even greater complexity and harmony, but also represents an expression of conviviality and sharing. The choice of Nebbiolo for this wine reflects Marchesi di Gresy's objective to enhance the distinctive characteristics of this noble grape variety, through sustainable agricultural practices and careful winemaking that aims to preserve the integrity of the fruit.

Visually, Martinenga Nebbiolo Langhe DOC has a brilliant ruby red color, with garnet reflections that intensify with age. On the nose, the wine offers an aromatic bouquet of notable finesse, with notes of red fruits, dried flowers, spices and a light mineral vein, typical of Nebbiolo grown in these lands.

In the mouth, the wine stands out for its elegance and structure, with fine tannins and a well-balanced acidity that gives freshness and liveliness. The flavors of cherry, raspberry and rose blend with subtle accents of tobacco and leather, in a harmonious whole that culminates in a long and persistent finish, characterized by a pleasant complexity.

Ideal in combination with Piedmontese dishes, such as agnolotti del plin, braised meats and mature cheeses, the Martinenga Nebbiolo Langhe DOC by Marchesi di Gresy is also an excellent wine for contemplation, which invites reflection on the infinite facets of Nebbiolo.

In conclusion, the Martinenga Nebbiolo Langhe DOC in Magnum format by Marchesi di Gresy represents an authentic and profound expression of the Nebbiolo delle Langhe, a wine that reflects the commitment of one of the most respected Piedmontese wine-growing families in creating high quality wines, which they celebrate the indissoluble link between the grape variety, the terroir and tradition.

Winery history
The estate of Tenute Cisa Asinari has been linked to the di Grésy family since the 18th century; the family has owned the Martinenga cru since 1797. Winemaking under the Grésy label in its modern form was begun by Alberto di Grésy around 1973, when the family decided to produce wine exclusively from their own grapes and to promote wines that expressed the identity of the vineyards.
