After delicate pressing, the grapes were transferred to stainless steel tanks, where alcoholic fermentation took place at a controlled temperature between 26 and 28 °C. The maceration phase lasting 15-18 days was managed with delicate pumping over and délestage, aimed at obtaining a gradual and balanced extraction. Subsequently, the wine aged, with 50% in 500 liter tonneaux and the other 50% in French oak barriques.
Masseria Maìme has a ruby red color. On the nose, fruity notes of morello cherry and berries emerge, accompanied by pleasant sensations of violet, iris and chocolate, with a light spicy touch of cloves on the finish. The entry to the palate is soft, accompanied by elegant tannins, culminating in a balanced finish.
