The grape harvest takes place from the middle of October. After the harvest, it follows delicate pressing, followed by maceration for about 15-20 days. After racking, the wine rests in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature (20-22 ° C) to then complete the alcoholic and malolactic fermentation. The wine is then decanted and subsequently bottled and aged in the bottle for at least 6 months.
A wine that stands out in the glass for its ruby red color, with slight violet reflections. The nose is inebriated by the fruity aromas of blackberries and currants, which intersect with light floral hints of violet. On the palate it is powerful, full and enveloping.
A wine that from the first sip, is soft and velvety but still tannic, very persistent on the palate and characterized by a fruity and spicy return in the finish. At the table it goes perfectly with platters of medium-aged cheeses, first courses with meat sauces, grilled, roasted and white meats.
The 6 liter "Mathusalem" size is ideal for attending large tables, and the wooden case that contains it makes it an excellent and original gift idea.
