The grapes used for this Vin Santo, primarily Trebbiano and Garganega, are left to dry for months in a fruttaio, a practice that concentrates sugars and flavors, resulting in a wine with a deep amber color and golden reflections. On the nose, the Vin Santo di Brognoligo offers a complex bouquet, where notes of honey, dried fruit such as apricot and figs, and hints of sweet spices released during aging in small oak barrels emerge.
On the palate, it is distinguished by its remarkable viscous and rich texture that delicately envelops the palate, balancing sweetness perfectly with a slight acidity. The sensations of dried fruits mix with touches of vanilla and caramel, present thanks to the long aging.
