Barolo DOCG - Villero - Magnum - Oddero is a wine that expresses the excellence and depth of the Villero terroir, one of the most celebrated crus in the Barolo area, in the municipality of Castiglione Falletto. The Oddero winery, with a history that has its roots in the 18th century, is renowned for its ability to produce wines that embody the perfect synthesis between tradition and innovation, testifying to the richness and complexity of the Nebbiolo grape.

Presented in an elegant Magnum format, which enhances its aging potential and makes it ideal for special occasions, Barolo Villero di Oddero reflects all the character and intensity you can expect from a great Barolo. The Nebbiolo grapes for this wine come exclusively from the Villero vineyard, known for its soil rich in calcareous marl and sand, which gives the wine a balanced tannic structure and a unique aromatic complexity.

At sight, the wine has an intense garnet red color, typical of high quality Barolos, with orange reflections that tend to emerge with aging. On the nose, the Barolo Villero Magnum offers a complex and layered bouquet, with notes of ripe red fruits, dried flowers, spices, tobacco and a light trace of leather, enriched by mineral nuances that reflect the terroir of origin.

In the mouth, the wine shows extraordinary structure and depth, with robust but elegant tannins, well integrated into a rich and enveloping body. The acidity, typical of Nebbiolo grown in the best conditions, helps maintain freshness and vitality, leading towards a long and persistent finish, which leaves a sensation of fullness and satisfaction.

Ideal to accompany red meat dishes, game, mature cheeses and rich truffle-based dishes, the Barolo DOCG Villero - Magnum from Oddero is a special evening wine, which can be appreciated immediately or left to refine in the cellar to reveal its its incredible evolution and complexity.
