Winery history Ammura

Ammura is the Etna estate that joined the Tommasi Family Estates project; the acquisition was announced as part of the Verona-based group's expansion on Etna. The project was publicly unveiled with the first labels of Etna Bianco and Etna Rosso. The name Ammura evokes a symbolic connection to Sicily and its winemaking identity.

Production philosophy

Enhancing the identity of the Etna region through the use of native grape varieties, practices designed to express the minerality of the volcanic soils, and restrained production aimed at achieving elegance and tension in the wines.

Terroir and vineyards

Northeastern slope of Mount Etna, in the municipality of Linguaglossa. Vineyards exposed to diurnal temperature variation and volcanic soils that impart freshness and minerality to the wines.
