Winery history Château Changyu Moser XV

The project began as a joint venture between Changyu and Austrian winemaker Lenz/Laurenz Moser. The estate and winery were inaugurated in the early 2010s, and the company quickly established itself as one of the most notable examples of premium wine production in Ningxia, benefiting from both infrastructure investment and European consultancy for Bordeaux-style winemaking.

Production philosophy

The winery combines European expertise and Chinese resources to enhance the local terroir. Its aim is to produce wines with an international style while preserving the typicity of the Ningxia region, with strong attention to grape quality and to control in the vineyard and in the cellar.

Terroir and vineyards

The estate is located in the Ningxia wine region, at the foot of the Helan Mountains near Yinchuan. The area is characterized by pronounced diurnal temperature variations, an arid continental climate and abundant sunshine, conditions that influence grape ripening and the profile of the wines produced.
