Winery Chioccioli Altadonna

A family project led by brothers Niccolò and Enrico Chioccioli Altadonna, supported by their father Stefano. The estate was born from the brothers' desire to establish themselves in their native area and personally oversee every stage of production, continuing a tradition spanning two generations.

Vineyard work as the foundation of production, careful small-batch vinification and the combined use of stainless steel, terracotta and wood to showcase the terroir. Limited production, an artisanal approach and a commitment to harmony with the vineyard ecosystem.

Located in the Chianti Classico area, with typical vineyards and landscapes of rolling hills, olive groves and woodlands; operational headquarters in Gaiole in Chianti, Tuscany.

Among the recognitions mentioned: Fossivento received 93/100 from James Suckling and the red medal at The Wine Hunter Award 2019; Sanforà was rated 91/100 by James Suckling.
