Winery history Curatolo Arini

The estate was founded in Marsala by Vito Curatolo in 1875 and has remained family-run for several generations. During the 20th century the winery expanded its presence in foreign markets and, beginning in the 1970s, diversified production beyond Marsala into still wines also intended for export. In recent years the family has developed single-varietal lines and territorial selections, collaborating with external oenologists to enhance indigenous varieties and the identity of individual vineyards.

Production philosophy

To enhance Sicily's native grape varieties and distinct local territories with an approach that combines family tradition and a commitment to quality in the vineyard and cellar, while promoting winemaking innovation and openness to international markets.

Terroir and vineyards

Based in Marsala. Vineyards and sourcing are located in various areas of western and central Sicily, with selections also coming from the Etna area.

Awards and recognitions

Recognition and medals in international competitions; among the cited achievements are medals at the International Wine Challenge and mentions at events such as the Merano WineFestival.
