Winery history Weingut Lisa Bunn

Born from the merger of family-owned wineries and led by Lisa Bunn and Bastian Strebel, the winery was established in 2011. Over the years it has refocused its range to favor Riesling and the Burgunder varieties, earning international recognition and updating the company name from its previous designation.

Production philosophy

Low intervention and respect for nature: sustainable management during conversion to organic farming, long macerations, spontaneous fermentations and aging in large and small barrels. Emphasis on vineyard biodiversity and renewable energy in the winery.

Terroir and vineyards

Vineyards located along Nierstein’s Roter Hang for Riesling; Burgunder are planted on calcareous soils in Wintersheim. Soils vary: red, stony soils, limestone and loess, which impart a mineral expression to the wines.

Awards and recognitions

Numerous accolades from guides and competitions.
