Winery Palliser Estate

The first vineyards associated with Palliser were planted in the mid-1980s; the official website notes that ownership and operations developed in the following years, with the formation of partnerships and a formal corporate structure in 1988. Since then Palliser has grown into a producer recognized nationally and internationally, with exports to multiple markets.

A strong commitment to protecting the land, sustainable vineyard management and a gradual conversion to organic farming. The estate prioritizes full control of the production chain by cultivating and vinifying only grapes from its own vineyards.

Situated on Martinborough Terrace in the Wairarapa region, the winery draws on well-drained alluvial soils and the area's microclimate; its name and identity are inspired by the nearby coast of Cape Palliser and the surrounding area.

The official website describes their Pinot Noir and Chardonnay as "award-winning"; additionally, the Palliser Kitchen has received a Cuisine Hat.
