Winery history Podere La Berta

The estate began as a winemaking project on the hills of Brisighella, rooted in the work started by Marcello Giovannini in the early 1970s. In 2009 ownership passed to the Poggiali family, who continued developing the estate while maintaining a focus on quality and local identity.

Production philosophy

Artisanal work and a strong connection to Romagna's rural roots: from vineyard care to the winery, priority is given to the purity of the fruit and to showcasing native grape varieties, with attention also to local agricultural culture and visitor experiences.

Terroir and vineyards

The estate overlooks the foothills of the Appennino Tosco-Romagnolo, a few kilometres from Faenza, in an area characterized by calanchi, woodlands and vineyards that define the local wine landscape.
