Winery Rocca del Principe

A family-owned company established when the founding partners decided to vinify and bottle their own grapes after years of supplying them to third parties. The transition to their own label, documented in multiple sources, took place in the early years of the 21st century.

An artisanal, quality-focused approach: low yields in the vineyard, management practices that respect the soil and the vines, and winery interventions aimed at enhancing varietal identity. Selected aging methods are employed, including sur lie for some white wines.

The winery, located in Lapio in the heart of Irpinia, works vineyards situated on recognized cru sites such as Arianiello and Contrada Campore. The hilly location and proximity to the Monti Picentini influence diurnal temperature variations and the ripening of the grapes.
