Winery San Salvatore 1988

The estate was founded through the entrepreneurial commitment of Giuseppe Pagano and developed across the hills and coastline of the Cilento National Park. The name refers to Salvatore, the founder’s son. Over time San Salvatore 1988 has integrated winemaking, olive growing and buffalo farming, evolving into an estate recognized nationally and internationally.

The company states a strong commitment to sustainable agricultural practices: organic viticulture, a focus on the circular economy and on reducing environmental impact, and investments in technologies for energy and operational management.

Located in the heart of the Cilento National Park, with vineyards in the areas of Paestum, Giungano and Stio, the estate benefits from the influence of the nearby sea and the area's calcareous-clay soils to produce wines typical of Cilento/Paestum.

The winery's wines have been reviewed and featured in international guides and magazines. Some individual wines, such as Pian di Stio and Trentenare, have received critical attention.
