Winery history Tenuta Cocci Grifoni

Winery with an official founding date of 1933. Guido Cocci Grifoni rediscovered the Pecorino grape in the 1980s and the first pure Pecorino vinification dates to 1990; since then the estate has helped raise the profile of Pecorino in the Offida appellation.

Production philosophy

Family history and management; focus on caring for the land, experimentation (e.g. resistant grape varieties) and hospitality. Emphasis on valorizing native grapes (notably Pecorino) and the vine–human–landscape relationship.

Headquarters: Via Messieri 12, San Savino (Ripatransone, AP). Vineyards in the Offida area (Marche). For Colle Vecchio: clayey soil; north‑west exposure; elevation 180–250 m a.s.l.; Guyot training system.
