Winery history Villa Job

Villa Job was born from the experience of Alessandro and Lavinia, who, after professional careers in consulting and marketing, decided to dedicate themselves to viticulture. The vineyards come from Alessandro’s grandfather’s estate, and the winery was developed to showcase a personal, creative approach to winemaking, prioritizing hands-on practices and respect for the land.

Production philosophy

Low-tech production, spontaneous fermentations with indigenous yeasts and minimal cellar intervention. In the vineyard, certified organic farming methods are used, integrated with biodynamic practices and with attention to biodiversity and the circularity of waste.

Terroir and vineyards

The vineyards are located in the Zugliano / Pozzuolo del Friuli microzone, in the province of Udine. Planted at around 90 metres above sea level, they sit on complex soils rich in sand, clay, sandstones and marls, and border woodlands and the Cormor River.
