Winery history
This project was born from the union of two families and the friendship of three partners: Gerardo, Soccorso and Michele. The winery takes its name from the contrada of Nusco where the vineyards are located; operations began in the early 2010s with vineyard preparation and the first commercial harvest around 2015. The partners engaged oenologist Riccardo Cotarella as a consultant during the project's formative stages.
Production philosophy
The company focuses on Irpinia and its traditional varieties, emphasizing agronomic quality and the stylistic identity of the wines. It prioritizes grape traceability and the enhancement of mountain-grown grapes to express recognizable local characteristics.
Terroir and vineyards
Located in Nusco in Irpinia, the vineyards are situated at high altitude in the area's contrade, on soils typical of Irpinia, and variations in elevation help define the style of the wines produced.
