On the palate Tenuta Massellina's Albana di Romagna Secco presents a fresh, clear profile: a bouquet of white flowers and white-fleshed fruit, accompanied by a light hint of bitter almond that gives character without weighing it down. The sip is dry, well balanced between lively acidity and a pleasant sapidity, with medium body and a slightly pulpy texture that supports the drinkability. The finish is more fresh than intensely long, making it suitable for those seeking a dry white with a measured, gastronomic temperament.

It is best enjoyed young, at around 8-10°C, when freshness and aromas are most evident. It pairs well with seafood starters, shellfish, grilled fish dishes and with fresh cheeses or light cold cuts; also try it alongside traditional Romagna recipes to appreciate its balance. In bottle it offers a straightforward, honest expression of dry Albana, practical and versatile for the table.

Region: Emilia-Romagna
Country: Italia
Grapes: Sangiovese, Albana, Pignoletto, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Trebbiano
Approximately 22 hectares in total, with 16 hectares under vine. Conversion to organic viticulture completed in 2019. Ownership and management entrusted to the Terre Cevico cooperative group. Renovated facilities for wine tourism: tasting rooms, an estate museum and event spaces. Use of renewable energy sources to support sustainable operations.
Winery history
The property, now part of the Terre Cevico cooperative group, has been relaunched in recent years with investments in the winery, aging rooms and wine tourism facilities. The estate has been restored by renovating historic buildings and converting them into spaces for tastings, a company museum and direct sales, integrating the project into the broader plan to enhance the Romagna region.
Production philosophy
The company's work aims to enhance the territory through attentive agricultural practices: respect for the vine and the soil, a transition to organic viticulture, and a reduction of the energy footprint through renewable solutions and low-impact climate control systems.
Terroir and vineyards
The estate is located on the hilly ridge between Imola and Faenza. The vineyards are situated on the area's clay hills, at altitudes ranging from approximately 50 to 200 metres above sea level, a territory well suited to Sangiovese, Albana and other local grape varieties.
