L'alcool puro a 96ºC si ottiene dalla distillazione dello zucchero.
Si tratta di una sostanza altamente alcolica molto utilizzata anche ad uso alimentare per la creazione di liquori.
Aggiunto ad estratti o macerati si può poi diluire con acqua o sciroppo di zucchero, per raggiungere la gradazione desiderata.
