Pairing Game, red meats, long-aged cheeses
Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG by Tommasi in magnum format, presented in a wooden case, is a red wine of great character. In the glass it shows an intense ruby colour with garnet highlights; on the nose it opens to a range of sensations recalling ripe red fruit, notes of plum and cherry, with hints of sweet spices, bitter cocoa and light earthy notes. On the palate it is full and enveloping, with significant structure, tannins that are present but compact, and a persistence that invites slow tasting. All this is balanced by a freshness that eases pairing.

It pairs well with structured dishes such as red meats and game, stews and aged cheeses, or can be enjoyed on its own during tasting moments. The magnum format is ideal for sharing on special occasions and the wooden case enhances presentation, making it suitable also as a gift. It is recommended to open the bottle in advance to allow the wine to open up and to serve it calmly.
