Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG by Giusti Wine is a red wine whose label names a recognised designation and the Classico category. As no information is available about the vintage or the specific characteristics of this bottle, it is prudent to refer to the general profile of the category: one can expect good intensity, a broad presence on the palate and a character suited to unhurried tasting. Typical aromatic notes may suggest ripe fruit and hints of spice, though their expression varies with the bottle and vintage.

At the table, it can accompany full-flavoured dishes such as roasts, braised meats and mature cheeses, without necessarily overwhelming their nuances when the pairing is balanced. It may suit a convivial dinner or an occasion for slowly enjoying a structured red. To appreciate its profile, a large glass and a little time in the glass can be helpful. These suggestions refer to the general style of Amarone and do not replace a technical sheet specific to the bottle.

Terroir and vineyards
The main estate lies between Montello and the Piave’s right-bank floodplain, in the municipality of Nervesa della Battaglia: around 130 hectares of vineyards divided among ten estates. The company also farms two plots in Valpolicella Classica. Pinot Grigio Longheri is made from grapes grown in the Longheri vineyard, part of the Rolando estate in the Nervesa della Battaglia area.
