Ripa della Volta’s Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG is a red wine that perfectly embodies the elegance and complexity typical of this renowned appellation. This wine stands out for its unique winemaking process, which involves drying the grapes, typically Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara. After harvesting, the grapes are left to dry for several months on special racks, losing water and becoming concentrated in sugars and aromas. This process gives the wine its intensity and richness.

The color is a deep garnet red, a clear sign of the wine’s maturation and the drying of the grapes. On the nose, Amarone della Valpolicella reveals a rich and complex bouquet, with notes of ripe fruit such as cherry and plum, enriched by nuances of spices, tobacco, and dark chocolate. On the palate, the wine is robust and velvety, with an impeccable balance between acidity and tannins that promises excellent longevity. The finish is long and persistent, with a pleasantly bitter aftertaste typical of Amarone, inviting another sip.

Perfect served with red meat, game dishes, aged cheeses, or enjoyed as a meditation wine, Ripa della Volta’s Amarone della Valpolicella also pairs beautifully with complex and savory dishes. It can also benefit from further bottle aging, developing additional aromatic and flavor nuances.

This Amarone is not merely a wine, but a true sensory experience that celebrates Valpolicella’s winemaking tradition, making every occasion special. Ideal for completing the cellar of lovers of robust and structured wines.
