The Annonce de Bélair-Monange a Saint-Émilion represents the second wine from the prestigious Château Bélair-Monange, an estate that embodies the excellence of viticulture in Saint-Émilion, in the Bordeaux wine region. This wine is designed to offer a preview of the style and quality of the Château, making it accessible to a wider audience without sacrificing the high standard that distinguishes the estate's production.

Saint-Émilion, with its unique terroir characterized by a combination of limestone, clay and sand, is renowned for producing structured and complex red wines, mainly based on Merlot and Cabernet Franc. L'Annonce de Bélair-Monange is an expression of this rich heritage, offering a harmonious blend that captures the essence of the Saint-Émilion terroir.

The vinification follows the same qualitative philosophy as the Grand Vin, with a careful selection of the grapes and a vinification that aims to enhance the fruit, freshness and tannic finesse. The use of wood, although present, is modulated so as not to overwhelm the purity of the fruit, allowing the wine to express the varietal typicality and the specificity of the terroir.

At sight, Annonce de Bélair-Monange shows an intense ruby red color. On the nose, the wine unfolds an aromatic bouquet that ranges from ripe red fruits, such as raspberries and strawberries, to floral notes and a light spiciness, with a background of minerality that reflects the limestone soil of Saint-Émilion. In the mouth, the wine is elegant and balanced, with soft tannins and a freshness that underlines its drinkability, leading towards a pleasantly persistent finish.

Perfect when paired with delicate meat dishes, roasted poultry, soft cheeses and mushroom dishes, Annonce de Bélair-Monange offers a tasting experience that, while immediately appreciable, does not lack depth and complexity, reflecting Château Bélair-Monange's commitment to producing high-quality wines that celebrate the Saint-Émilion terroir.
