Color Red
Antica, from Antinori Napa Valley, is a red wine with an immediate, refined and measured sensory profile. On the nose there are ripe red and dark fruits, aromas of cherry and plum and light spicy hints; the bouquet remains clean and structured with a touch of aromatic herbs. On the palate it shows a medium-full body, tannins that are present yet smooth and balanced acidity that supports the fruit. The finish is persistent without being excessive, leaving a warm, enveloping sensation.

It pairs well with red meats, roasts and medium-aged cheeses, and also performs nicely with mushroom dishes or savory sauces. Recommended serving temperature 16–18 °C; for a more open expression, opening the bottle an hour before serving or light decanting can help relax the aromas. Suitable both for convivial meals and for more focused tasting moments.

Winery history
The Antinori in Napa project began with Marchese Piero Antinori’s desire to express the winegrowing potential of the Napa Valley mountains. In 1985 the family acquired its first parcels in the eastern part of the valley and, over time, developed selected sites, transforming the property into a large mountain estate. Today the estate is part of Marchesi Antinori’s global network and produces wines that emphasize the character of its high-altitude vineyards.
Production philosophy
Uniting the Antinori family's winemaking tradition with the distinctive qualities of the New World: enhancing the various mountain vineyard parcels, respecting the land, and pursuing elegance and refinement in the bottles, while offering dedicated experiences for members and visitors by appointment.
Terroir and vineyards
The estate is located on the eastern side of Napa Valley, in the Atlas Peak/Foss Valley area: vineyards planted on rocky slopes and volcanic soils, situated above the fog line and influenced by cool breezes from San Francisco Bay; some vineyards reach elevations near 600 meters. The published address is 3700 Soda Canyon Road, Napa, CA 94558.
