Appia Antica 400 Bianco from Tenuta Principe Alberico is a Lazio IGT wine that shows a bright straw-yellow color and clear transparency. On the nose it presents a fine, restrained aromatic profile, with hints of white-fleshed fruit, citrus notes and light floral touches; subtle herbaceous nuances also emerge, adding complexity without dominating. On the palate it balances freshness and softness, with well-calibrated acidity and a medium body, finishing with good persistence and a pleasant sapidity that encourages further sipping.

It is versatile for pairings: excellent with seafood starters, grilled fish, seasonal salads and fresh cheeses, and also with Mediterranean vegetable dishes and light preparations. Recommended serving temperature is around 8-10 °C to enhance its aromas and structure; decanting beforehand is not necessary. A suitable choice for informal lunches and light dinners, ideal for those seeking a white wine to drink young while retaining a discreet personality.

Winery history
The estate is named after Prince Alberico Boncompagni Ludovisi, a central figure in the area's revival who adopted organic practices and introduced varieties that were then little known. The property was revitalized by his granddaughters, who restored the historic vineyard and maintain the inherited techniques, highlighting the agricultural memory and identity of the place.
Production philosophy
Production oriented toward quality and respect for the soil: organic wines, attention to the historic vineyard, use of traditional methods combined with technical consultancy to enhance the volcanic terroir and the typicity of the planted varieties.
Terroir and vineyards
Vineyards located in the Appia Antica and Agro Romano areas, on soils characterized by volcanic ash. The site is influenced by the Ponentino wind and the proximity to Rome, which contribute to the wines' aromatic profile and minerality.
