Baia al Vento Bolgheri Superiore DOC 2022, Campo al Mare by Folonari, is a red wine that modestly reflects the winemaking tradition of the Tuscan coast. With solid structure, it presents a measured aromatic profile and a character consistent with its appellation. In the glass it shows a ruby colour with lively highlights; the nose suggests ripe red fruit, fine spicy notes and a discreet herbaceous hint, without excess. The producer favors a recognisable, balanced approach between substance and freshness.

On the palate it confirms a present but smooth tannic texture, supported by freshness that eases drinking. The finish is persistent without being intrusive, suited to those seeking a wine of measured and reliable personality. Winery history

The Folonari family has deep roots in the Brescia area and has been involved in wine production since the late 18th century. At the end of the 19th century the headquarters were moved to Brescia, and in the early 20th century the family acquired the historic Ruffino winery. In the 1960s Nino Folonari began a shift toward quality with the acquisition of estates in Chianti. In 2000 Ambrogio and Giovanni Folonari established Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari Tenute, which brings together several estates in Tuscany, while the Folonari brand offers an extensive range of table wines and appellation wines.
