The Barbaresco DOCG produced by Fratelli Serio and Battista Borgogno is a true expression of the elegance and complexity that the Nebbiolo grape can achieve in the hills of Piedmont, especially in the Barbaresco area, renowned for its red wines of extraordinary depth and longevity. This winery, managed with passion and dedication by the Borgogno family, is committed to producing wines that faithfully reflect the terroir and winemaking tradition of this prestigious area.

The Barbaresco of the Serio and Battista Borgogno brothers has a light garnet red color, typical of Nebbiolo, which tends to acquire orange reflections as the years pass. On the nose, the wine opens with an intense aroma, offering a complex bouquet of ripe red fruits, floral notes of rose and violet, accompanied by nuances of spices, leather, tobacco and a light touch of vanilla, testimony to the elegant refinement Wood.

In the mouth, Barbaresco reveals itself in all its majestic structure, with fine but firm tannins, which give the wine an enveloping and persistent texture. The balance between acidity and alcohol is impeccable, leading to a long and harmonious finish, where the fruity and spicy notes blend into a pleasantly complex and inviting aftertaste.

Ideal in combination with rich and structured dishes, such as roasted red meats, game, dishes based on truffles and mature cheeses, the Barbaresco by Fratelli Serio and Battista Borgogno is also an excellent meditation wine, capable of evolving over time and revealing new and surprising nuances.
